Milwaukee is poised to witness one of its most substantial affordable housing undertakings, The Flats and Senior Living at Cream City Yards, development receives its initial city financing approval. Valued at $197 million, the project is designed to encompass 576 apartments within eight distinct five-story buildings, replacing the historic Filer & Stowell Co. site. The apartments will cater to both seniors and families, filling a critical need for affordable housing.
